Editorial policy

Updated October 2026

Scope and independence

This is an independent reference publication for readers evaluating components, sourcing documents and equipment electronics. It does not supply components, manufacture products or accept quotation requests. It is not affiliated with any former operator of this domain.

Sources and technical claims

Use the relevant component manufacturer documentation, interface specification or original equipment manual for technical claims. Record the document revision, access date, units, conditions and scope. A limit or feature of one device cannot be generalised to every device in its class. Secondary reporting helps locate a source; it does not replace the original document.

Comparisons, examples and images

Comparisons based on public documents are identified as such. Hypothetical examples state their inputs and do not imply testing. Original diagrams and AI-created illustrations explain a topic; they are not photographs of equipment tested by this publication. We do not invent test results, customers, credentials, prices or operating experience.

Uncertainty and corrections

When a source does not settle a question, the article states the missing information or limits its conclusion. Substantive corrections change the article’s update date and include a correction note describing the change. Editorial concerns belong on the Contact page; an operational email address will be listed there once configured.

Using this reference

Articles help organise questions and evidence. Equipment-specific approval, electrical work and safety procedures require the applicable documentation and qualified personnel. An article is not an installation procedure or a claim of certification.
